Our Handmade Christmas

This year we got a real Christmas tree again i toyed with the idea of getting a fake one but real ones just look soooo pretty and all our homemade decorations look much more at home on a real tree than they ever would on a fake one . I decided last year that i wanted our Christmas tree decorations to be mostly homemade and so far we have stuck to it we have two pieces of tinsel and a couple of ikea gnome decorations but other than that its all handmade by me and the pixies and every year we plan to add more homemade decorations . Some of these are last year decorations and some are this years.

Ben's saltdough star and his angel that sits on top of the tree.

This is a copy of a decoration i saw in last years tesco catalogue and my needle felted mushrooms turned into Christmas decorations.
This is a tiny copy of a Tilda bear .

I got the knitting pattern fort his tiny sweet little bear from littlecottorabbit.typepad.co.uk

 little fat needle felted robin.
I enlarged the tiny bear pattern and made a big bear big sister :)

  2. I love your pretty tree and the handmade ornaments are so sweet and adorable -- all of them! But I might be just a tiny bit partial to that little fat robin ;).
    Merry Christmas!
