April :)

Dinner outside :)
Today we went to Stay&play at the children's centre which was lots of fun not so much for mummy though as i mentioned i didn't want to send Ben to pre-school nursery and well i didn't get a very good reaction from the other mums ,they all seemed to think i was being 'clingy' and should 'let him go' !? and apparently its good for them and prepares them for school and he will be 'missing out' ! i explained that i thought 5 days a week all day was far too much for a 3yr old but no body agreed with me and it left me feeling very lonely in my ideas .

After Stay&play we went to the library and because the pixies have now got 6 certificates each for borrowing books and filling there sticker sheets they got a teddy each :)

Ben in the tent reading his library books.

Tomorrow is playgroup and we have to make Easter bonnets . Had a idea for a chick hat using tissue paper last night in bed as i was just about to fall asleep so me and Ben got all our craft materials out a made a supper dupa chick Easter hat .

The finished product :)

Andy finished work early so he took Ben on a bike ride to go and look at the trains .
So i got to spend some time just me and Daisy which we don't often get to do , we headed to the park with Doodles .

After a nice long play on the swings Daisy went to make friends with some daffodils, she said hello to each flower.

Daisy cant walk past steps without going up or down them .

Doodles waiting patiently for a chance to grab Daisy's biscuit.
Even in the park a lady who lives down the road from me started asking when Ben was starting nursery (or as they call it here 'foundation stage') !!! whats wrong with people why are they so obsessed with getting toddlers off to school and out the way!

  1. Lovely family photos :0)

I get asked 'why aren't they in school today' almost every time venture out of the house..aargghh..It's a nightmare isn't it! (And anyway, is that really the most interesting thing most adults can think of to ask children?!)

  2. Gorgeous pics :)
I also am really fed up with being asked when charlie is going to nursery, I've learned to just smile and say 'he's learning all the time, he doesnt need to go to nursery to do that'!!
